Square Tomato is an affordable catering option for UVM Recognized Student Organizations (RSO's are clubs, organizations, as well as fraternities or sororities). Selections from this menu are for pick up only Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 6 PM from the Davis Center 2nd Floor Kitchen.

Hosting a Student Event?

UVM Dining Catering invites UVM Student club, group, organization, or teams to collaborate with our catering team to design custom menus and prepare meals in our kitchens, creating a unique and authentic dining experience for your event.

Enjoy a selection of tasty, seasonally inspired Limited Time Offer (LTO) menu items that will warm any gathering.

• Spring LTO Menu is available in EMS February 1 for events March 1 - May 31, 2025
• Summer LTO Menu is available in EMS May 1 for events June 1 - August 31, 2025

UVM Dining has a long history of partnering with local farmers, producers, and distributors to help build and maintain a strong regional food system. Through Vermont First by Sodexo, we prioritize serving local, and seasonal produce on our catering menus, when available and are proud to feature the following local, farmers and producers:

• Apples from Champlain Orchards (Shoreham, Vermont)

• Beans and Vegan Burgers from Vermont Bean Crafters (Warren, Vermont)

• Cheddar Cheese and Sour Cream from Cabot Creamery (Cabot, Vermont)

• Coffee from Speeder and Earl's (Burlington, Vermont)

• Falafel and Samosas from Global Village Foods (Quechee, Vermont)

• Greens from Interval Food Hub (Burlington, Vermont)

• Ground Beef from Black River Meats (Springfield, Vermont)

• Milk and Half and Half from Miller Farm Milk (Vernon, Vermont)

• Potatoes, Carrots, and Beets from Just Cut (Hardwick, Vermont)

• Sweet Potatoes and Butternut Squash from Pioneer Valley Growers Association (Whately, Massachusetts)

• Tofu from Vermont Soy (Hartwick, Vermont)

UVM Dining is committed to providing safe and inclusive food for guests. Please be aware that our options are made in a facility that uses peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, shellfish, sesame, milk, eggs, and soy. Self-service buffets pose a high risk for cross-contact if you have anaphylactic food allergies, please reach out to your event coordinator. Our catering team proudly donates excess food from our catering operations to Rally Cats Cupboard (the on-campus food pantry) and Feeding Champlain Valley.

In the spring of 2025, UVM Dining launched their Food to Share program, to help divert extra portions of food from catering events in the Davis Center. This program helps reduce the amount of food going into the compost and helps feed community members and students in need.

Here’s how it works:

• Sign up for the Free Food listserv by texting “FREEFOOD” to 82257.
• Max 10 text messages/month. Message and Data Rates May Apply. By texting [FREEFOOD], I agree to receive marketing text messages from Sodexo to my mobile phone number. • When there is leftover catering food, a text message will go out to the Free Food listserv.
• Food will be available on a table outside of Rally Cats Cupboard (Davis Center, room 103) while supplies last, for a maximum of 30 minutes.
