UVM Dining is more than great food. It is a community experience centered on culinary expertise, fresh ingredients, healthy options, and a shared sense of environmental and social responsibility. Our team is committed to creating the best possible dining experience for you! Join us for delicious foods in an inviting atmosphere while enjoying the convenience of dining on-campus.
To purchase a dining plan, visit the “Shop." Dining plans are accessed through your UVM CATcard. All plan holders must present their CATCard to the cashier at the time of purchase to use their plan. Dining Plans are subject to change and interpretation, as recommended by the University Administration. Learn more about our Dining Plan Options below.
On-Campus Student Dining Plans 2025/2026

On-Campus Meal Plan Requirement

All students living on campus are required to have a meal plan for the duration of their housing contract.

Students with dietary concerns can work directly with our Registered Dietitian for personalized menu planning.

Dining Plan Switch Form for On-Campus Students
Click Enter to see the detailsIf the on-campus dining plan you selected in your Housing and Meal Contract isn’t meeting your needs, you can switch to a different plan during the first two weeks of each semester by logging into the housing portal and completing the Dining Plan Switch Form.

Switch Deadlines
- Fall 2025: Submit by Monday, September 8 at 4:00 p.m.
- Spring 2026: Submit by Monday, January 26 at 4:00 p.m.

Please note:
- It may take up to 10 business days to process your request.
- Switches are processed in the order they are received.
- Once submitted, begin using your new plan as if the switch is already active.
- Unless you request a change, your current dining plan will automatically be renewed from the fall to spring semester and be billed accordingly.

Off-Campus (Undergraduate Commuter, Graduate, and Medical) Student Dining Plans for 2025/2026

Off-campus students can save money on all on-campus meals by purchasing Retail Points and/or Block Meals! Choose a plan that fits your taste, schedule, and budget:
New for 2025/2026: Off-campus students—including graduate, medical, and others living outside of campus housing—can now purchase the same dining plans available to on-campus students.

Retail Point Plan
Features:
- Functions as a declining balance account, with each point valued at $1. Points can be used at any on-campus dining locations.
- Cost: Retail Points can be purchased in increments of 50, 100, 150, 200, or 250.
- Details: Ideal for off-campus students who want flexible, convenient access to all UVM dining locations.
Benefits
- 10% savings at Campus Perk, Cyber Cafe, Given Bistro, Green Roof Deli, Redstone Market, The Marketplace, University Marche, UVM Dairy Bar, Waterman Market, and Waterman Manor—automatically applied at checkout
- Rolling balance – Your retail points stay with you as long as you're enrolled at UVM. Upon leaving UVM, the unused retail points are non-transferable and non-refundable.
- Ultimate convenience – Link your points to your free Everyday account to check hours, browse menus, and order ahead at select locations.
Block Plan
- Features: Provides a set number of Meal Swipes which can be used for entry into any of our four dining halls. Block Meals cannot be used for the Meal Exchange program. Unused Block Meals roll over from fall to spring semester but expire at the end of the academic year. Block Meals are non-transferable and non-refundable.
- Cost: Blocks can be purchased in increments of 30 ($302), 50 ($464), 75 ($674), 100 ($871), 125 ($1067), or 150 ($1281).
- Details: A great option for students who want a set number of dining hall entries. Not to be used in retail and not valid for Meal Exchange.

Graduate Student Dining Plan for 2025/2026

Features
- 30 Block Meals: Redeemable at any dining hall (e.g., Harris Millis, Central Campus Dining, Simpson). Each block covers a full meal—perfect for sit-down dining when you have time to recharge.
- $150 Retail Points: Works like a declining balance account, usable at all campus retail dining locations (e.g., Waterman Market, Redstone Market, Cyber Café). Each point equals $1.
- 3 Guest Meals: Share a meal with visiting friends or family at any residential dining hall.
Cost: $399 for the full package.

All students living on-campus are required to choose one of our four on-campus dining plans. You’ll select and sign up for your dining plan as part of your Housing and Dining Plan Contract.

Students living off-campus are eligible to purchase any UVM dining plan, including All Access, All Access Plus, Flex, Retail Points, Block Meals, and Retail Points-only options.
