Resident Student Meal Plans - 2017/18

All returning on-campus students must choose from one of the meal plans listed below. For students living off-campus or for staff and faculty members, meal plans may be purchased on a voluntary basis. Resident meal plans can only be used at on-campus dining locations.

UNLIMITED ACCESS PLANS (two options)

The "Unlimited Access" Plans offer unlimited entry into our four "all you care to eat" resident dining locations.

  •  Central Campus Dining Hall located on Central Campus
  •  Harris Millis located on Athletic Campus
  •  Northside Dining located on North Campus
  •  Redstone Unlimited located on Redstone Campus
Each "Unlimited Access" Plan includes an option for 325 or 100 retail points, plus guest meals and access to our Eco-Ware Resident Take-out program:
  • with 325 retail points + 6 Guest Meals = $2303 per semester
  • with 100 retail points + 3 Guest Meals = $2061 per semester

Unused retail points at the end of fall semester will carry over to spring semester (provided you have a Resident Meal Plan). Any unused retail points will expire May 11, 2018 and are non-refundable. A retail point is valued at one dollar.

RETAIL POINT PLAN

The Retail Points Plan is a declining balance account. Retail Points can be used at all campus dining facilities including our "all you care to eat" dining locations. It is the responsibility of the plan holder to budget their retail points. The Retail "Point" Plan offers retail points plus meals. Meals can be used throughout the semester at any of our "all you care to eat" dining locations:

  • with 1400 retail points plus 25 meals - $2061 per semester

Unused retail points at the end of fall semester will carry over to spring semester (provided you have a Resident Meal Plan). Any unused retail points expire May 11, 2018 and are non-refundable. A retail point is valued at one dollar.

Any unused Meals at the end of fall and spring semester are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Your selected Meal Plan can be accessed using your UVM ID Card. All plan holders must present their ID card at a dining facility to utilize their plan.

Meal Plan Requirement

All residential students are required to have a meal plan for the term of their nine-month contract. Our residential facilities are not equipped to provide individual meal preparation, and our dining locations provide a variety of menu options. Students with specific meal related concerns are able to receive Individual Menu Planning directly with a Registered Dietitian from UVM Dining. Releases from meal plans are at the sole discretion of the University’s Dean of Students Office.
